My paintings reflect my personality. In front of a white canvas my imagination guides me without any limits or rules, inspiring me to try different techniques and materials. Femininity and women are the main focus of my works. I have always been fascinated by feminine gestures, exhibitionism, makeup, fashion, but most of all by the small details of what makes us unique as women.
I let rationality and instinct lead me enabling my work to become reality. My creativity and curiosity drive me to find new artistic methods and I find further inspiration in architecture, photography, fashion, which were the subjects of my MA dissertation.
As a photograph does, I like to capture the moment when a picture is fixed. The magic moment that makes a picture immortal in a “click”. When the imagination becomes shape and form, it is art. Every single sensation, emotion and mood becomes line, sign, colour, volume, shadow or light and everything moves itself in balance between chaos and order.
My deep love for fine art and paintings allow me to match daily objects with natural or fantastical elements in order to develop the perfect idea; it is then the role of the observer to catch the most intimate sense of my work.
I am an Italian painter that has lived in London for over three years.
Born in a small town beside the Adriatic sea called Osimo (An), I have spent my whole life surrounded by art and craft. Since I was a child I showed a passion for creativity, the arts, painting and drawing and worked in my parents jewellery shops from as young as I was able to talk. I attended Secondary Art School which inspired in me a goal to become involved in the art world on a professional level. Following Art school I subscribed myself at the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata and in 2010 I achieved a BA degree with an MA in Decoration following two years later.
After studying artists such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Caravaggio, Klimt, Tamara de Lempicka, Modigliani, Picasso, Dalì, I developed an artistic-painterly sensibility and the way they influenced my art work is clearly visible. During these five years at the Academy I had the opportunity to discover different artistic techniques to sharpen my artistic taste and skills. I attended many courses including: painting, architecture, photography, interior design and fashion; the topic of my MA degree dissertation. I analysed fashion as works of art and how characters like: Coco Chanel, Elsa Schiaparelli, Christian Dior, Roberto Capucci weren’t just stylists but artists that built fabric sculptures. The topic was fascinating and provided me with another source of inspiration for my work
I am an ambitious artist and am now looking to move my career on to the next stage by displaying my works in galleries, exhibitions and fairs throughout London and beyond.
